Meet the Team
About Our Staff
M&M Bakery is a family-run shop in the heart of Grand Rapids. Pictured left to right: Melena is our front-line manager and baker who handles printing pictures on cakes, making fondant, and cupcakes; Maria is the first head boss, Joshua's mother, and founded the bakery in 1992. She has been making cakes for more than three decades; and Joshua is Maria's son and our second head boss. He makes cakes right alongside Maria. Together, Maria, Joshua, and Melena all craft our beautiful wedding cakes.
Together with our small, dedicated team, we treat every cake that leaves our kitchen like it is for our own family — because for 35+ years, that is exactly how we have built our community.
